Rektproof is a price action trader that has been trading since 2016 across forex and crypto markets. In his 2021 degen challenge, he publicly traded $500 to up over $350,000.
The brief was to create a minimal brand founded on Rektproof's love of surf and the ocean. This brand would then be rolled out across his educational community and educational materials.
The clean lines and sharp geometry of Work Sans accentuate the key letters of Rektproof's name. Additional kerning increases the sense of freedom and lightness associated with surfing and ocean.
Inspired by Rektproof's profile picture, a number of natural tones were selected to give a warm palette that places the trader in amongst the watery hues.
