Coinmarketman is a leading trading journal that allows traders to automatically track their trades and performance. Coinmarketman were looking for a simple icon that could represent the idea of an account being 'unlocked' with access to full features.
Working with the team we explored various ideas for a 'locking concept' that included abstract as well as literal representations. Ultimately, we settled for an open circle concept suggesting both a keyhole and a padlock ring. This would later be animated within the product.
